Steelers Lose to Titans 26-23 Remain Winless on the Road

The Titans gave themselves a little breathing room with a much-needed victory, and the Pittsburgh Steelers still can't win away from Heinz Field. Rob Bironas kicked his fourth field goal, a 40-yarder as time expired, and the Titans beat the Steelers 26-23 on Thursday night to snap a two-game skid. Full story

   
Steelers Jets Steelers Defense Shuts Down New York Jets 27-10

The Jets totaled over 120 yards of offense during their first two drives to take a 10-6 lead, but managed less than 100 the rest of the way. Quarterback Mark Sanchez completed just 10 of 27 passes with a touchdown and New York (1-1) hardly looked like the team that steamrolled Buffalo in its season opener a week ago. Full Story
   
Steelers Football Pittsburgh Steelers 2012 Football Schedule Announced

The Pittsburgh Steelers 2012 schedule includes five prime time games. The season opener will be in Denver against the Broncos on Sunday night, Sep. 9th at 8:20 p.m and will be carried on NBC. Ben Roethlisberger Injured Roethlisberger and Young Money Defeat Browns 14-3

Big Ben Roethlisberger played with a high ankle sprain as the Pittsburgh Steelers continued their dominance of the Cleveland Browns. Roethlisberger returned in the second half to pass for 280 yards and two touchdowns. Roethlisberger connected on 79-yard scoring strike to a member of Young Money (Antonio Brown) to lead the Steelers to a hard earned 14-3 victory. Full story

Hall of Famers Lynn Swan and John Stallworth were named as the best ever WR combo by Sports Illustrated.

  Steelers Super BowlsThe Pittsburgh Steelers have represented the AFC in eight different Super Bowls and won a record six Super Bowl titles.

The Steelers won their first world championship in Super Bowl IX (1975) against the Minnesota Vikings. The most recent Super Bowl victory came in (2009) against the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII.
